PICK UP YOUR TECH PASSPORT FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A SNAP-ON TOOL BOX DURING NACE 2004

SNAP-ONI-CAR, ASE, I-CAR Education Foundation, and NATEF will co-sponsor a drawing for a Snap-on toolbox for qualified NACE and APPEX attendees. To be eligible to win the toolbox, entrants must visit all four co-sponsored booths during NACE and be I-CAR trained as well as ASE-certified, or be a student attending an ASE-certified NATEF career and technical school or college, which also utilizes the I-CAR curriculum.

 

Audi  Repair BayA "T.E.C.H. Passport" will be provided to all interested in entering the drawing. This Passport must be stamped at the I-CAR, ASE, I-CAR Education Foundation and NATEF booths during NACE. Once the trip "around the world" of training, education, and certification is complete, the "Passport" entry should be dropped into the Snap-on toolbox, which will be on display during the NACE exposition. The winner will then be randomly selected at the conclusion of Saturday's NACE exposition day.

 

Once NACE attendees have visited each of the four co-sponsoring booths and have had their Passport stamped, they will need to drop it off at the Snap-on tool box which will be on display during NACE during these times:

Thursday, November 4th

ASE CertifiedNATEF - booth #'s 4524 & 4523

Friday, November 5th

I-CAR - booth #1809

Saturday, November 6th

I-CAR Education Foundation - booth #2602

ATTEND I-CAR TRAINING PROGRAMS DURING NACE 2004 AT DISCOUNTED PRICES!

Do you plan to attend NACE 2004? If so, would you like to take advantage of I-CAR training at a reduced rate? I-CAR will be conducting six training programs this year at NACE 2004, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 3-6, 2004. The programs will be offered at a reduced rate of $60 for each four-hour program.

I-CAR Enhanced Delivery

Registrations for these training programs made before this Friday (October 22nd) will be accepted, processed, and available for pick-up at NACE 2004. After October 22nd, all registrations must be completed on-site in Las Vegas.

Wednesday, November 3rd from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Hazardous Materials, Personnel Safety, And Refinish Safety (WKR01)

Topics that will be covered during this program include:

  • Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Product Labeling Requirements
  • Hazardous Materials and Waste
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Repair Facility Safety

Completing this class will help prepare you for the ASE B2 Painting And Refinishing, and the B3 Non-Structural Analysis And Damage Repair Certification Test!

This training program has been approved as a 'adjuster optional' continuing education credit (CEU) for the following state(s): New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Florida.

Stationary Glass (GLA02)

Topics that will be covered during this program include:

  • Stationary Glass Issues
  • Windshields
  • Pinchweld Preparation
  • Adhesives
  • Glass Repair

Completing this class will help prepare you for the ASE B4 Structural Analysis And Damage Repair Certification Test!

This training program has been approved as a 'adjuster optional' continuing education credit (CEU) for the following state(s): New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Florida.

Structural Straightening Aluminum (SSA01)

Topics that will be covered during this program include:

  • Aluminum Vehicle Design

Wednesday, November 3rd from 1 - 5 p.m.

Electric And Electric Hybrid Vehicles (ALT01) **New Training Program**

  • Repair of Electric and Electric Hybrid Vehicles

This training program has been approved as a 'adjuster optional' continuing education credit (CEU) for the following state(s): New Hampshire and Florida.

Advanced Restraint Systems (RES02) **New Training Program*

Topics that will be covered during this program include:

  • Side Airbags and Curtains
  • Occupant Classification Systems (OCS)
  • OCS Replacement and Calibration
  • Other Restraint and Safety Devices

Completing this class will help prepare you for the ASE B4 Structural Analysis And Damage Repair, and the B5 Mechanical And Electrical Components Certification Tests!

This training program has been approved as a 'adjuster optional' continuing education credit (CEU) for the following state(s): New Hampshire and Florida.

Structural Aluminum Design And Repair Process (SPA01)

Topics that will be covered during this program include:

  • Extrusions, Castings, and Stampings
  • Welding, Mechanical Fasteners, and Adhesives
  • Aluminum Vehicle Design

Completing this class will help prepare you for the ASE B4 Structural Analysis And Damage Repair Certification Test!
