Introduction to Custom Painting expands a refinisher’s basic skills into the unique and exciting new world of refinishing. This program provides an introduction into different refinish materials and equipment used to create a unique custom finish.

I-CAR RELEASES FALL 2007 TRAINING SCHEDULE

The fall 2007 I-CAR Live Training schedule is now available online and pre-registration is open. While I-CAR Zone Managers will be scheduling additional Live classes on an individual basis, industry professionals are encouraged to visit www.i-car.com, enter their ZIP/Postal Code in the home page “Quick Class Search” function, and pre-register for an upcoming I-CAR Live class or Qualification Test.

“We are already running into situations where scheduled I-CAR Live classes are sold-out due to high demand. Typically the fall months are some of the busiest months of the year,” commented I-CAR Director of Field Operations Jeff Peevy. “This year there is some additional urgency to register for class in order to maintain Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual designations under the 5&2 10&2 requirements. I would encourage all that are interested in attending I-CAR Live classes or Qualification Tests to register early and often to secure a seat in a future class.”

In addition to the available Live classes and Qualification Tests, I-CAR also offers over 30 Online Training programs that are available to industry professionals 24/7 with internet access.

Businesses interested in bringing the Mobile Qualification Tests (MQT) truck to their facility to administer the industry recognized Qualification Tests should contact mqtinfo@i-car.com.

UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX TELECONFERENCE - SAVE THE DATE

I-CAR and the University of Phoenix will hold informative teleconferences on August 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. and 12 noon CDT. Both sessions are complimentary and contain the same information, which will help attendees understand how to apply their I-CAR training towards a degree from the University of Phoenix. Look for an upcoming e-mail with additional details and registration information.

The week of July 30, I-CAR in Australia CEO Richard Pratt and I-CAR in New Zealand CEO Robert Renwick stopped by the I-CAR World Headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, to further discuss the expansion and maintenance of I-CAR operations abroad. Prior to the WHQ visit, Pratt and Renwick met with staff at the I-CAR Tech Centre in Appleton, Wisconsin and attended the 2007 I-CAR International Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
