INDUSTRY LEADER IN PLACE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH CURRICULUM WORK

Bill Stage
Bill Stage

In his new role as Director of Marketing and Distribution, Bill Stage has been tasked with taking a body of work two years in the making to the next level. The role-based training curriculum known as the Professional Development Matrix realigns the I-CAR curriculum into a framework for industry training based upon an individual’s role and level of experience and responsibility.

“It’s important to me that we engage every segment of the industry around this body of work. Central to this curriculum model is the I-CAR vision that every person in the collision industry, current and future, has the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair,” said Bill Stage, Director of Marketing and Distribution. “I’m very excited to serve I-CAR and the inter-industry at a greater capacity as a member of I-CAR’s leadership team.”

“I want to reassure our volunteers and instructors that they play a key component in our role-based training curriculum, as they administer and deliver training to the industry,” said Stage. “I-CAR’s history and 30 year legacy was built by volunteers and instructors many of whom are still involved with I-CAR today, it is our vision that we continue to be defined by the industry that is our future.”

I-CAR TO RELEASE NEW DAMAGE ANALYSIS COURSE ON MARCH 1

Today’s vehicles are made up of many different types of advanced materials, knowing how and when to repair or replace these materials on a vehicle can be a challenge. I-CAR will release a new course starting March 1 which addresses these concerns and more. The Advanced Material Damage Analysis (DAM08) course identifies the different types of materials used in vehicle construction, how repair vs. replace decisions should be made, and recycled parts and refinishing considerations.

In February, online registration opens for this course for classes that start March 1, to register visit www.i-car.com.
