I-CAR INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL MEETING NEAR... ARE YOU REGISTERED?

Make your travel plans now to attend the I-CAR International Annual Meeting, you may even want to wrap your family vacation around the meeting and visit Mickey! This year's meeting will take place at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida. Learn from renown Keynote speakers, attend Tech Clinics, take an I-CAR class or Qualification Test (must pre-register ahead of time), and network with other collision industry professionals.

THATCHAM'S CHIEF EXECUTIVE TO PRESENT AT UPCOMING I-CAR INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL MEETING

I-CAR announces that Peter Roberts, Chief Executive of the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre (‘Thatcham’) will address I-CAR International Annual Meeting attendees at the upcoming 2007 event being held July 26–28 in Orlando, Florida.  

Roberts' presentation "Thatcham – Setting the Standards, Raising the Skills," which will cover the challenges the organization faces concerning new vehicle structures and European and Asian brand technologies, will be held during the Farewell Ceremony & Luncheon on Saturday, July 28.

Serving as the company's only Executive Director, Roberts was appointed as Chief Executive of Thatcham in March 2001. His early career included marketing management positions in GKN, Swish Products, and Northern Engineering Industries. Directorships include Pirelli Tyres; Partco Group Plc, Europe's largest distributor of automotive aftermarket parts; Automotive Skills Ltd; and EuroNCAP, of which Thatcham is a member company. He is also Chairman of the Vehicle Systems Installation Board. He was awarded the Bodyshop "Achiever of the Year award" in 2003 and the automotive industry's "Outstanding Personality of the Year award" 2007.

TECH CLINICS AMONG HIGHLIGHTS OF UPCOMING I-CAR INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL MEETING

Tech clinics, always popular with collision industry professionals, will be featured as part of the 2007 I-CAR International Annual Meeting at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, FL.

A variety of tech clinics conducted by leading industry organizations will be presented from Thursday, July 26 through Friday, July 27. Over 25 tech clinics will be offered, with each clinic being 45 minutes in length. The schedule will allow attendees the flexibility to attend the programs that best fit their schedule and training needs.
