I-CAR LOWERS PRICE OF UNIFORM PROCEDURES FOR COLLISION REPAIR (UPCR)

(Rolling Meadows, IL) I-CAR is pleased to announce that the price of an annual subscription to UPCR has been reduced. The new price is $295 in the United States, and $370 in Canada. In addition, a $50 discount will be given to Gold Class Professionals".

"In order for UPCR to be recognized as universally accepted procedures, it must be used by a substantial number of well-regarded participants in the collision repair industry. Therefore,

I-CAR’s pricing is based on a significantly greater number of subscriptions being sold than was originally forecasted," said Tom Mack, Executive Vice President of I-CAR.

One way I-CAR plans to achieve a greater number of subscribers is by asking industry associations to participate, endorse and market UPCR to their members. By signing a written agreement to endorse and market UPCR, an association's members will receive a $50 discount off the price of UPCR.

The product was developed under the recommendation of industry leaders who saw a need for established guidelines for repairing collision damage. "We see this product as being one of the most important projects I-CAR has undertaken. The benefits will be experienced by everyone, including consumers who have their vehicles repaired at businesses using UPCR," said Mack.

UPCR, which has been available for three months, is the only set of industry-accepted uniform procedures for repairing collision damage. The second release of UPCR was recently distributed.

To order UPCR, please contact I-CAR Customer Care at 800.422.7872 (800.422.7872). In Canada, contact 1-800-565-ICAR (1-800-565-4227).

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
