October 31, 1997 AUDIE SWEDEEN NAMED NEW I-CAR WELDING QUALIFICATION TEST MANAGER (Rolling Meadows) Audie Swedeen was recently named I-CAR's Welding Qualification Test Manager. In his new position, he is responsible for managing and overseeing the development and maintenance of all aspects of the I-CAR Automotive MIG Welding Qualification Test Program. "I am confident that Audie will continue to maintain the outstanding performance of the Welding Qualification Test Program and provide the necessary support to the administrators, test sites, and participants," said Dave Heckeler, Director of Marketing and Field Operations. Audie had been the I-CAR North Central Regional Manager for the past three years. As North Central Regional Manager, Audie assisted in setting up 15 Welding Qualification Test Sites. Before becoming the North Central Regional Manager, Audie had been involved with I-CAR as a Volunteer and as an Instructor for over eight years. Audie also has previous experience as a technician, independent appraiser and appraisal supervisor. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
