December 19, 1997 I-CAR/ASE END-OF-COURSE EXAMS NOW AVAILABLE FOR TEN I-CAR COURSES (Rolling Meadows, IL) I-CAR/ASE End-of-Course Exams are now available for the following I-CAR Courses: Advanced Vehicle SystemsFinish MatchingAluminum Repair, Replacement and WeldingGlass ReplacementCollision Repair Course (CRC)Plastic RepairCollision Repair 2000 (CR 2000)Steering and SuspensionDetailingWorkplace Hazardous Materials Students who have completed any of these I-CAR courses are eligible to take the course-specific exam. The end-of-course exam for the Electronics for Collision Repair course will be available in January 1998. The exam for Understanding Collision Repair will be available in March 1998. The end-of-course exam is not a requirement for Students to earn their Certificate of Completion. They are optional exams. Students must have completed all units of a course before registering to take the exam for that course. Students take the exams at home at their own pace. Those who have completed the course and passed the exam for that course will be sent a new certificate indicating that they passed the end-of-course exam, and they will receive one additional Gold Class point. The cost of the exams are $15 each in the United States, $20 each in Canada and $40 each in New Zealand. To order an end-of-course exam, please call Customer Care at 800.422.7872.
