1997 I-CAR CHAIRMAN'S AWARD PRESENTED TO TOYOTA MOTOR SALES, USA

(Rolling Meadows, IL) The Body Service Group Division of Toyota Motor Sales, USA, including John Saia, Roger Larsen, Randy Profetta and Tom Brizuela received the 1997 I-CAR Chairman's Award. The award was presented at the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) meeting held before NACE, in Las Vegas, on December 3, 1997.

The award was given in recognition of the outstanding effort made by these individuals during the review process of I-CAR's Uniform Procedures for Collision Repair (UPCR). Although there have been hundreds of individuals who have contributed their time to reviewing the procedures included in UPCR, only one group reviewed more than 95% of the procedures during both review processes. I-CAR would like to thank Toyota Motor Sales, USA, as well as the four individual recipients of the award, who dedicated much of their personal time to complete the reviews. "Dedicated individuals, such as these, are a driving force behind the success of I-CAR and the advancement of our Industry," said Tom McGee, I-CAR Technical Director.

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
