April 30, 1998 I-CAR TO PRODUCE ANOTHER SHADETREE MECHANIC EPISODE (Rolling Meadows, IL) In conjunction with Cinetel Productions, I-CAR is producing another episode of the Shadetree Mechanic, a weekly program on TNN that demonstrates vehicle maintenance and repair procedures. This episode will inform consumers how to find a quality repair business and will cover updated vehicle technology and modern repair methods and techniques. Filming will take place at Tennessee Collision Repair, Inc. in Alcoa, TN in May. Brenda and David Maples, are president and co-owner respectively of Tennessee Collision Repair, Inc. "I-CAR is very excited to be producing another episode of the Shadetree Mechanic," said Dave Heckeler, I-CAR Director of Marketing and Field Operations. "It will inform consumers of the collision repair process and give exposure to Gold Class Professionals and the benefits they provide." Air dates for this episode will be on TNN on June 20 and 21, 1998 and September 19 and 20, 1998. The episode will also be available to order on video. Order details will be announced at a later date. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
