ADDITIONAL TEST SITES FOR I-CAR AUTOMOTIVE GMAW (MIG) WELDING QUALIFICATION TEST

(Rolling Meadows, IL) The number of sites available for the I-CAR Automotive GMAW (MIG) Welding Qualification Test continues to grow throughout the United States and Canada. Thirteen new test sites have opened in the past year, and nine more are scheduled to open this spring and summer.

Steel Center Area Vocational Technical School - Clairton, PA
Wichita Area Vocational Technical College - Wichita, KS
Metro Training Institute - Vancouver, BC
Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) - Edmonton, AB
New Brunswick Community College - Moncton, NB
Nova Scotia Community College - Dartmouth, NSRed River Community College - Winnipeg, MB
Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) - Moose Jaw, SK

The I-CAR Automotive GMAW (MIG) Welding Qualification Test measures a technician's ability to perform automotive welding repairs. Welds must pass both visual and destructive tests. To date, over 5,000 technicians throughout the United States and Canada have successfully completed the test.
