August 21, 2000 I-CAR INSTRUCTORS & VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE AWARDS (Toronto, Ontario) The Awards Banquet was a highlight for many attending I-CARs International Annual Meeting, July 27-30, 2000, in Toronto, Ontario. The event took place at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto. Attendees dined on a gourmet meal, socialized with friends, and were entertained by hypnotist Brian Powers. Most importantly, the banquet has always been I-CARs opportunity to show appreciation to the many Instructors and Volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to educating the Collision Repair Industry. As Tom Mack, Executive Vice President and CEO, stated "Without the dedication from I-CAR Instructors and Volunteers our organization would not exist." Along with the State and Committee Awards, the banquet is an opportunity for each Regional/ National Manager to award one Instructor who best represents I-CAR professionally in the classroom, personifies a commitment to excellence, and shows the benefits of keeping pace with technology.
