(Rolling Meadows, IL) I-CAR announces that David Coffey has recently been named field manager for the Northeast region. In this position, Coffey will direct a team of over 50 district committees and 250 volunteers. He will also oversee the scheduling of I-CAR training courses and recruitment of instructors in a twelve-state region, including Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.

“We are very happy that David has joined the I-CAR team,” stated Director of Field Operations Dave Heckeler. “With 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, he will bring strong leadership to the Northeast region.” Before joining I-CAR, Coffey served as general manager of the Northeast region for Copart Salvage Auto Auctions. In that role, Coffey managed the company’s operations in seven states and led a team of over 250 employees. Coffey also spent several years at Insurance Auto Auctions, where he gained experience in business development, buyer marketing and branch management.

Coffey holds a bachelor of science degree from the State University of New York. He is based in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.
