August 21, 2001 I-CAR PUBLISHES E-NEWSLETTER ROLLING MEADOWS, IL – August 21, 2001 – I-CAR has developed and launched a free e-mail newsletter to provide its customers, instructors and volunteers with the most up-to-date I-CAR news. The e-newsletter is published approximately every two weeks as a brief e-mail, listing headlines and short descriptions of each news article. Links in the e-mail connect subscribers to the I-CAR web site for the article’s full content. The newsletter addresses a variety of I-CAR programs and events, such as the latest on the Gold Class Professionals program, updates to the Industry Training Alliance, the introduction of new Enhanced Delivery training programs, and I-CAR national and regional news. In addition, the publication regularly features online technical articles that supplement I-CAR’s technical newsletter, the Advantage. I-CAR’s e-newsletter replaces three of its print publications: the Connection, the Communicator, and the Instructor’s Corner. The online format offers a convenient and timely alternative to update Gold Class businesses, I-CAR instructors, volunteers and the industry with news as it happens.
