I-CAR INTRODUCES CR3000 COURSE

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL – October 3, 2001 – I-CAR announces the creation of a new course, which greatly improves upon and replaces its largest, most popular training course, CR2000. The new course, titled CR3000, was introduced October 1, 2001. CR3000 consists of eight Enhanced Delivery training programs and provides a comprehensive overview of the collision repair process.

The new course offers updated and expanded content, as well as state-of-the-art classroom technology. CR3000 students will enjoy more interaction in classroom activities, and an increased emphasis on realistic, hands-on exercises. Students will also receive a CD-ROM to take from the class for later review and reference. The CD includes the textbook, instructor audio track, and video demonstrations of all classroom exercises. The Enhanced Delivery programs included in CR3000 are: Fundamentals of Collision Repair Program 1
Damage Analysis Programs 2, 3 & 4
Corrosion Protection Program 1
Welding & Cutting Steel Program 1
Structural Parts Steel Programs 1 & 2

Together, these eight programs give students a good foundation in key areas of collision repair, and offer more in-depth coverage of technical subjects than ever before. Students who complete CR3000 will earn eight Gold Class points.

For students who have partially completed CR2000, the course will continue to be offered on a limited basis through December 2001. I-CAR encourages students who have not completed all units of CR2000 to do so now, in order to receive a certificate of course completion.

Those interested in attending CR3000 or completing CR2000 can check availability through I-CAR’s online class schedule at www.i-car.com, or contact their I-CAR regional field manager at 800-422-7456 to arrange for a class in their area.

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
