News - I-CAR Press Releases 2001

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL – October 3, 2001 – The 2002 I-CAR regional conferences have now been scheduled. This year’s conferences will provide the opportunity for volunteers and instructors to share their ideas on how I-CAR committees can help I-CAR achieve its vision of complete and safe repairs through technical training. For individuals interested in joining the I-CAR team, the conferences are a great opportunity to meet the volunteers and instructors and learn more about I-CAR. An annual awards banquet to honor I-CAR volunteers and instructors, along with a variety of interesting activities, will be held at each conference. I-CAR’s goal for 2002 is to make these the most rewarding, valuable, well-attended conferences to date.

The conferences planned for 2002 are:

South Central Region

(IL, IN, KY, OH, TN):
January 18 – 20, 2002 Crowne Plaza Hotel, Columbus, OH

North Central Region

(IA, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI):
January 25 – 27, 2002Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton, WI

Northwest Region

(AK, Northern CA, CO, ID, MT, OR, UT, WA, WY):
February 1 – 3, 2002Doubletree Columbia River Hotel, Portland, OR

Southwest Region

(AR, AZ, KS, LA, MS, NM, OK, TX): February 8 – 10, 2002Stockyards Hotel, Fort Worth, TX

Southeast Region

(AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, VA, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands): February 15 – 17, 2002Westshore Marriott, Tampa, FL

Northeast Region

(CT, DE, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, WV): February 22 – 24, 2002Woodloch Resort, Hawley, PA

South Pacific Region

(Southern CA, HI, NV): March 1 – 3, 2002Hilton San Diego Mission Valley, San Diego, CA

Online registration for these conferences will be available at www.i-car.com after November 1, 2001. Detailed agendas for each regional conference will also be available on the I-CAR web site. The registration fee for each conference is $75 for full meeting attendees, and $25 for spouses.

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
