I-CAR® INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBER TERRY FORTNER ELECTED TO CIECA BOARD OF TRUSTEES

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - April 2, 2003 - I-CAR International Board of Directors Member Terry Fortner was elected Secretary on the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) Board of Trustees for 2003. As an officer on the CIECA Board of Trustees, Fortner will serve on the CIECA Executive Committee, which maintains the Board's agenda and oversees CIECA business matters between board meetings. CIECA is an association created in 1994 to assist auto physical damage repair professionals in the use of information technology for electronic commerce.

Fortner is the Associate Vice President for Material Damage Technical Claims for Nationwide Insurance, based in Columbus, Ohio. He is responsible for the technical aspects of all physical automotive damage claims, business processes, quality control, direct repair programs and structured settlements. Fortner began his career with Nationwide in 1977. Since that time he has held a number of management positions including claims representative, claims manager, quality control team leader, managing claims consultant and material damage technical officer.

Along with being a member of the CCC Industry Advisory Committee, CIECA Board and Creative Living Board, Fortner has been a member of the I-CAR International Board of Directors since 2000.

"Fortner's continued involvement within the collision industry shows his true dedication and commitment," stated Tom McGee, I-CAR's Executive Vice President and CEO. McGee further commented, "Fortner will continue to serve as a valuable asset to the CIECA Board of Trustees."

As an I-CAR International Board Member, Fortner takes part in providing overall strategic direction for I-CAR. The Board also assists with establishing policies in support of the bylaws and mission statement, annually approving the five-year plan and budget, and obtaining the financial, informational, product and human resources necessary for the organization to achieve its goals.

Nationwide Insurance has been a long-standing member of I-CAR and sponsor of the international annual meeting.

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
