I-CAR CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD ROGER WRIGHT JOINS AIG AS MATERIAL DAMAGE MANAGER

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - May 12, 2003 - Effective March 24, I-CAR Chairman of the Board Roger Wright joined AIG Personal Lines Claims as Material Damage Manager. He will have overall responsibility for management of all areas of AIG’s Personal Lines Material Damage handling. Specific responsibilities will include development of staff material damage expertise, development of direct repair programs, material damage vendor relationships, total loss process, quality control programs and management of independent appraisal firms. AIG Personal Lines Claims is a division of American International Companies.

"I look forward to my continued involvement with the collision repair industry, especially with regard to my duties as Chairman of the I-CAR International Board of Directors and as Chairman of CIC," said Roger Wright, Material Damage Manager, AIG Personal Lines Claims.

Wright spent 25 years of his career with major property and casualty insurers managing all aspects of material damage claims training and claims handling. He left the insurance industry in 1998 to work for Collision Team of America as their Director of Insurance Relations and Vice President of Sales in which he oversaw insurance relations for 33 stores and over $100 million in sales. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Insurance Relations for CARSTAR, continuing efforts to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with the insurance industry. Wright is also Chairman of CIC (Collision Industry Conference), an active participant on collision industry advisory panels, and a 1997 inductee into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles.
