Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases September 12, 2003 I-CAR HIRES CANADIAN FIELD OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - September 12, 2003 Jean-Marc Julien has been hired by I-CAR in the newly created position of Canada Field Operations Support Manager. In this position based at the I-CAR Canada office in Etobicoke, Ontario, Jean-Marc will provide training and mentoring to I-CAR instructor candidates, assist in recruiting new instructor candidates, and provide support to the I-CAR Education Foundation in marketing the Enhanced Delivery training programs to Canadian career and technical schools and colleges and apprenticeship boards. He will also work closely with I-CAR Canada Field Manager Tracey Blouin in organizing and supporting I-CAR activities. Julien has over 20 years experience in the auto collision industry and is fluent in both French and English. Before joining I-CAR, Julien was employed as the collision centre manager for Gateway Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Brampton, Ontario and as a collision centre assistant manager for Hawley Pontiac Collision Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario. Julien is also inter-provincially licensed as an auto body and collision damage repairer and automotive painter with the Ministry of Education and Training in Canada. "With such a strong background within the automotive industry, Im confident that Jean-Marc will be a significant asset to I-CAR," said Blouin. "His involvement, qualifications and achievements will greatly assist I-CAR in our efforts to provide up-to-date training for the Canadian collision industry." I-CAR Director of Business Development and Field Operations Rick Tuuri also stated, "The addition of Jean-Marc to the I-CAR team clearly illustrates I-CARs continuing commitment to success in Canada including improved service and support."
