Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases August 10, 2004 I-CAR® ANNOUNCES 2004-2005 INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORSROLLING MEADOWS, IL - August 10, 2004 - I-CAR announced its 2004 - 2005 International Board of Directors and Executive Committee at the 2004 I-CAR International Annual Meeting - 25th Anniversary Celebration in Chicago, Illinois. The board of directors sets the overall strategic direction for the organization and assists in obtaining resources in support of the I-CAR mission. The board of directors is comprised of representatives from each of the following six industry segments: collision repair; insurance; equipment, tools, and supplies; education, training, and research; vehicle manufacturers; and related industry services. The 2004-2005 Executive Committee consists of: Chair Nick Notte, Mitchell International; Vice Chair Rod Enlow, RENLOW Auto Technical Consulting, Inc.; Secretary/Treasurer Robby Robbs, Nobilas; Immediate Past Chair Gene Hamilton, Sports & Imports for Society of Collision Repair Specialists; and Rick Ciesla, DaimlerChrysler, member at large. The board also includes 15 directors: Jack R. Aho, General Motors Corporation - Service Operations; Terry Angell, Warren Tech; Vince Claudio, Caliber Collision Centers; Raymond Coker, Mercedes-Benz USA; Tom Dance, Herb’s Paint & Body Shops, Director-At-Large; John Edelen, Allstate Insurance Company; Terry M. Fortner, Nationwide Insurance; Nick Gojmeric, Nick's SOS Garage Inc. & Collision Plus Auto Body Repair Centers; Rick Jazwin, Universal Technical Institute; Jerry Kottschade, Jerry’s Body Shop for Automotive Service Association; Joran Olsson, Pro Spot International Inc. for Equipment & Tool Institute; Sam Pezzullo, State Farm Insurance Canada, Canadian Representative; Rich Rosenthal, USAA; Eugene Scambray, Copart; Edward T. Staquet, Lord Fusor Corporation; and Brian Whitcomb, General Motors Corporation, Education Foundation Representative. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
