Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases September 13, 2004 I-CAR, ASE, I-CAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION, AND NATEF TO HOLD DRAWING FOR SNAP-ON TOOL BOX AT NACE 2004 ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - September 13, 2004 - I-CAR, ASE, I-CAR Education Foundation, and NATEF will co-sponsor a drawing for a Snap-on toolbox for qualified NACE and APPEX attendees. To be eligible to win the toolbox, entrants must visit all four co-sponsored booths during NACE and be I-CAR trained as well as ASE-certified, or be a student attending an ASE-certified NATEF career and technical school or college, which also utilizes the I-CAR curriculum. A "T.E.C.H. Passport" will be provided to all interested in entering the drawing. This Passport must be stamped at the I-CAR, ASE, I-CAR Education Foundation and NATEF booths during NACE. Once the trip "around the world" of training, education, and certification is complete, the "Passport" entry should be dropped into the Snap-on toolbox, which will be on display during the NACE exposition. The winner will then be randomly selected at the conclusion of Saturday's NACE exposition day. "We are grateful to Snap-on for donating the toolbox for this special promotion at NACE," said Ron Weiner, ASE president. "It's a great way to spotlight the value that training, education, and certification brings to the collision industry." I-CAR Executive Vice President and CEO Tom McGee said, "This promotion is a unique opportunity for I-CAR, ASE, I-CAR Education Foundation, NATEF, and Snap-on to recognize the importance of training, education, and certification in today's collision industry. One I-CAR trained and ASE-certified individual or a student in one of North Americas leading career or technical school or college that is ASE-certified to the NATEF standards and uses the I-CAR curriculum will receive this special recognition of their commitment to excellence in collision repair."
