I-CAR® WORLD HEADQUARTERS OPENS ITS DOORS TO COLLISION INDUSTRY

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - October 31, 2005 - I-CAR and collision industry professionals celebrated the grand opening of the new I-CAR World Headquarters facility during an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on October 20th, 2005. I-CAR Chairman Rod Enlow, I-CAR Education Foundation Chairman Clark Plucinski, and I-CAR President and CEO Tom McGee officially opened the doors to the collision industry and Hoffman Estates Mayor William D. McLeod declared October 20th to be "I-CAR Day" in Hoffman Estates.

The new 25,000 sq. ft. building greatly increases current capabilities for I-CAR and with the ability to expand an additional 15,000 sq. ft., it provides for future growth within I-CAR. The Inter-Industry Training Centre, a classroom that seats up to 90 people to assist in training professionals, is an important part of the new I-CAR facility. I-CAR has opened its’ doors to the collision industry to use this classroom for conducting future industry meetings.

I-CAR International Board of Directors Chairman Rod Enlow said, "This building is truly an asset for the entire collision industry. We hope that the Inter-Industry Training Centre is booked solid for next year. We could not have built this without the support of our industry for I-CAR and its Vision. We are looking forward to even higher levels of performance from both our staff and instructor network as a result of the capabilities gained by our new World Headquarters."

I-CAR Education Foundation Board Chairman Clark Plucinski said, "In the 20 plus years I have been associated with I-CAR; I have always been made to feel like part of the I-CAR family. As a volunteer, that was important to me. From the moment I walked through the door of the new I-CAR World Headquarters, it felt like home. The new facility will also be a great addition towards the future success of the I-CAR Education Foundation. There is a solid Vision, strong financial status, and a tremendous Board of Trustees,

Executive Committee and staff. I'm proud and honored to be an integral part of a winning, dynamic team and look forward to the many great years that lie ahead."

I-CAR President and CEO Tom McGee said, "The completion of the World Headquarters is something that all of the supporters of I-CAR and the I-CAR Education Foundation can be very proud of for years to come. The facility is not just for use by I-CAR and the I-CAR Education Foundation. We believe that the Inter-Industry Training Centre should be used by any organization in the collision industry that has a need to conduct a meeting in the Chicago area. We are also very proud to have the support of the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles and the Akzo Nobel Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry, both of whom will have permanent displays in the facility to recognize those individuals who have made a significant impact on our industry."

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international not-for-profit training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
