Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases September 12, 2005 EAST ROCKFORD COLLISION CENTER: FIRST I-CAR GOLD CLASS PROFESSIONALS BUSINESS CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - September 12, 2005 - East Rockford Collision Center, located at 2602 17th St. in Rockford, Illinois, celebrated a unique distinction on August 31 the business has maintained its I-CAR Gold Class Professionals status for 15 consecutive years. East Rockford Collision Center was the first business in the world to attain the Gold Class Professionals designation in 1990. Maintaining the Gold Class Professionals status requires dedication and commitment to current automotive collision repair training. Of the nearly 3,000 North American Gold Class Professionals businesses, only seven others are approaching 15 years as Gold Class Professionals. I-CAR would like to congratulate and thank East Rockford Collision Center for their exceptional commitment to collision repair training. To achieve and maintain the Gold Class designation, employees of the business must achieve and maintain high standards of technical training. Gold Class Professionals are trained by I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, and other industry training providers.
