1,000TH I-CAR® ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM PURCHASED

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - May 31, 2006 - Less than a year from its launch, collision industry professionals have learned proper collision repair procedures through over 1,000 I-CAR Online Training program units taken by the industry.

"The collision industry demanded more accessible training, and I-CAR delivered. Online Training is available to anyone, anywhere, 24/7. This training delivery is self-paced, so students can review procedures as frequently as necessary. Online Training offers one more way that I-CAR can provide everyone in the collision industry with the necessary technical knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair," commented Tom McGee, I-CAR President & CEO, "That is the Vision of I-CAR."

"This is an achievement that I-CAR is truly proud of," said I-CAR Director of Business Development and North American Operations Rick Tuuri. "I-CAR listened to the industry and developed an online curriculum that covers vehicle and procedure-specific information, as well as general collision repair concepts. This milestone tells us that the industry just cast their 1,000th vote that we are doing the right thing. I-CAR focuses many efforts towards better understanding its customers, and we hear the industry’s support for Online Training loud and clear. We will continue to listen to the industry as we expand our offerings to meet the training needs of all collision industry professionals."

I-CAR online training became accessible to the industry as of August 2005 and is self-study training, available 24/7. Perfect for training over your lunch break, Online Training programs are all 30-60 minutes in length. These online programs are unique and contain content not found in I-CAR Live training. Upon successful completion of an Online Training program, the student will earn 0.25 (one-quarter) of a point, which can be applied to the Gold Class Professionals™ or Platinum Individual™ recognition programs.

Students will also earn a self-print certificate for each program successfully completed, and I-CAR will store the purchased program in a personal library indefinitely.
