Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases July 12, 2006 I-CAR® BRINGS QUALIFICATION TESTS DIRECT TO YOUR DOOR
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - July 12, 2006 The industry asked for more convenient hands-on testing, and I-CAR listened. I-CAR is preparing to launch the new Mobile Qualification Test (MQT) program this summer. Through this added convenience for the industry; I-CAR will be able to deliver all three of its industry recognized qualification tests at individual business sites across North America. The MQT program will enhance the existing I-CAR network of qualification test sites. Initial launch of the MQT program will be in: Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Boise, Los Angeles, and Toronto. I-CAR Qualification Test Program Manager Audie Swedeen said, "I-CAR is excited about expanding our current network and providing the industry with the added convenience that the mobile test units will be able to provide. The fully equipped mobile units will be scheduled to visit individual business locations and conduct these industry-recognized qualification tests on site." "We’re thrilled with this new opportunity," says I-CAR Director of Business Development and North American Operations Rick Tuuri. "I-CAR Program Instructor Toby Chess piloted this program in California and the Southwest with tremendous success. We look forward to serving the industry with this important and convenient tool." I-CAR is currently accepting applications for MQT Program Drivers/Administrators in the designated test cities mentioned.
