Hoffman Estates, IL - June 20, 2007 - I-CAR announces that Peter Roberts, Chief Executive of the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre ('Thatcham') will address I-CAR International Annual Meeting attendees at the upcoming 2007 event being held July 26-28 in Orlando, Florida.

Roberts' presentation "Thatcham - Setting the Standards, Raising the Skills," which will cover the challenges the organization faces concerning new vehicle structures and European and Asian brand technologies, will be held during the Farewell Ceremony & Luncheon on Saturday, July 28.

Serving as the company's only Executive Director, Roberts was appointed as Chief Executive of Thatcham in March 2001. His early career included marketing management positions in GKN, Swish Products, and Northern Engineering Industries. Directorships include Pirelli Tyres; Partco Group Plc, Europe's largest distributor of automotive aftermarket parts; Automotive Skills Ltd; and EuroNCAP, of which Thatcham is a member company. He is also Chairman of the Vehicle Systems Installation Board. He was awarded the Bodyshop "Achiever of the Year award" in 2003 and the automotive industry's "Outstanding Personality of the Year award" 2007.
