CAR-O-LINER WELDER AWARDED TO WISCONSIN CAREER AND TECHNICAL SCHOOL AT NACE 2008 HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL / LEESBURG, VA – December 2, 2008 – Jerome Goodson of Fox Valley Technical College located in Appleton, Wisconsin, has won a Car-O-Liner CR 55 Aluminum Stud Welder and Dent Repair Tools at NACE 2008 thanks to a giveaway sponsored by Car-O-Liner, I-CAR, ASE, I-CAR Education Foundation, and NATEF. For the fifth year in a row, these organizations have co-sponsored a drawing at NACE. “I am thrilled to be the winner of the Car-O-Liner aluminum spot welding equipment,” noted Jerome Goodson Collision Repair/Business and Industry Instructor at Fox Valley Technical College. The equipment will be donated to the Collision Repair and Refinishing Program at Fox Valley Technical College, where the students will be able to polish their skills in aluminum repair. I was fortunate to have graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in the late 1980’s, one of the first schools in the United States to use I-CAR curriculum.” “Early in my career, I learned the value of I-CAR Training and ASE Certification, and how each can compliment a technician’s skills and professional growth. Car-O-Liner, ICAR, the ICAR Education Foundation, ASE, and NATEF should all be applauded, as their generosity demonstrates different organizations working together to ensure that the collision industry continues to move in a positive direction.” To be eligible, an entrant must be ICAR trained as well as ASE-certified, or attend an ASE-certified NATEF career and technical school or college which also utilizes the ICAR Live curriculum. To participate in this promotion, eligible attendees could visit one of the participating organization’s booths and fill out a registration form. The winner was randomly selected at the conclusion of Saturday’s NACE exposition day and notified via phone. CONTACT: Tony Molla, ASE Vice President Communications
