Gold Class - Job Descriptions and Point Requirements

PLEASE NOTE: Effective January 1, 2007, position-related point requirements will no longer apply for new applicants. New applicants must follow 5&2 requirements to qualify.

Only grandfathered Gold Class designated businesses will need to follow position-related point requirements for their 2007 renewal. All renewals after 2007 will require 2 points of ongoing training annually. Job descriptions and the associated Gold Class point requirements are available for positions in the following types of collision industry businesses:

Collision Repair Business

Insurance Company

Glass Business

Recycling Business

Supplier/ Jobber/ Distributor

Career and Technical Education

Information Provider

Supplemental Restraint System Business

Other Related Industries:

From time to time businesses from other related industries, such as consultants and independent sales representatives, may apply for the Gold Class Professionals program. These companies will be evaluated individually due to their uniqueness in structure. I-CAR customer care should be consulted for point clarification.
