The I-CAR Academic Alliance exists today to recognize accomplishments of students training through a career and technical school or college.

Schools must complete several steps to be inducted as part of the I-CAR Academic Alliance. Whether secondary or post-secondary, the Academic Alliance will allow for higher job-placement for students in the collision repair industry by offering the means by which a student can apply for I-CAR points upon successful completion of each session or upon graduation. The I-CAR points are recognized in the industry and begin the student along the path of achieving the I-CAR Platinum Individual™ designation in his or her chosen role.
