Equivalency Test Catalog Full Course Catalog

I-CAR Equivalency Tests offer collision repair professionals an option to prove mastery of content learned through previous experience or on-the-job training and enable individuals to focus their training toward advancing within their role. I-CAR suggests that all individuals satisfy knowledge area requirements through instructor-led (live) or online training unless an individual has mastery of content within key knowledge areas and competencies of their role in the I-CAR Professional development Program.

Please note: Equivalency Tests require pre-registration and pre-payment at least TWO WEEKS before the event.

I-CAR Equivalency Tests are a measure of an individual’s knowledge of a given subject, not of a specific I-CAR course. Therefore, study guides are not available. A passing score of 80% will fulfill those tested knowledge areas toward the I-CAR Platinum Individual® designation. To learn more about how I-CAR Equivalency Tests impact your training and the I-CAR Professional Development Program, click here. Please note, in order to process your specific test you must register for I-CAR Equivalency Tests at least two weeks prior to the event date.
