As a not-for-profit training organization, I-CAR makes every effort possible to keep training timely, relevant, and affordable to the collision repair inter-industry. To make pricing easier to calculate, I-CAR has shifted from its traditional “points” system to a “credit hour” system and class pricing is based on the price per credit hour multiplied by the credit hours per class. Generally speaking, the conversion is three (3) credit hours replacing one (1) point for a regular I-CAR class. The typical online course that was one-quarter (.25) point is now (1) credit hour on average. When registering on the I-CAR website, Gold Class pricing for live classes in 2012 remains the same as 2011, and 2012 pricing will be reduced for online classes. |

Online Registration Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for all classes. Simply register online for training using a major credit card, coupon, electronic check, or e-code. The website automatically offers discounts to eligible Gold Class businesses or Platinum Individual students. Arrangements to register for the Welding Qualification Series must be made by phone. Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual Discounts Gold Class businesses or Platinum Individual students receive preferred pricing in recognition of their commitment to training. Discounts are automatically applied when registering online and are also available when purchasing e-codes. Pre-Paid Coupons Pre-paid coupons are no longer available to purchase, however, previously purchased coupons may still be used as payment for a class using the online registration process. Any preferred pricing would have been applied at the time the coupon was purchased. Note that Platinum Individual coupons are non-transferable. Equivalency Test Equivalency Tests are already offered at a minimal fee, therefore no additional discounts are applicable to the purchase. |
