OEM Training: Ford Training
Ford / I-CAR Training Program Options
Collision repair facilities participating in the Ford Certified Collision Repair Center program can complete I-CAR training (Live, Online, and Welding Qualification Tests) to fulfill the training requirements.
Year 1
Industry professionals need to successfully complete a combination of 15 credit hours (for example: 5, 3-credit hour courses). Technicians can choose the training that best suits their training needs from the list below, based on job title.
Year 2
Industry professionals need to successfully complete a combination of 15 credit hours (for example: 5, 3-credit hour courses). Technicians can choose the training that best suits their training needs from the list below, based on job title.
Years 3+
Industry professionals need to successfully complete a combination of 6 credit hours (for example: 2, 3-credit hour courses). Technicians can choose the training that best suits their training needs from the list below, based on job title.
Collision Repair Technician
I-CAR Live Training – 16, 3-hour courses and 1, 6-hour course available
I-CAR Online Training – 12, 1-hour courses available
I-CAR Qualification Testing – 2 training series available
Refinish Technician
I-CAR Live Training – 9, 3-hour courses and 1, 6-hour course available
I-CAR Online Training – 8, 1-hour courses available
I-CAR Industry Training Alliance
