I-CAR has launched its all-new instructor-led course, Alternative Fuel Vehicle Damage Analysis and Safety (ALT03). This live, instructor-led, 3-credit hour course is designed to enhance a collision repair professional’s understanding of how to safely approach alternative fuel vehicles of all types after a collision and how to understand the risks and risk-avoidance of working around such vehicles.

With the emergence of more technically advanced vehicles, including the new aluminum-intensive 2015 Ford F-150 State Farm® and I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, announced today that more than 2,700 State Farm Auto Physical Damage Appraisers (ADPAs) have completed the I-CAR 2015 Ford F-150 Structural Repair course (FOR06).

I-CAR announced today that two new courses are available to Refinish Technicians: Refinish Materials and Application Blending (REF08e) and Color Theory, Mixing Toners, and Tinting (REF09). These courses are available now and have replaced Color Theory, Application, Tinting, and Blending (REF03).
