Maserati Training


Maserati has launched a new “Maserati Certified Bodyshop” (MCB) program and has partnered with I-CAR®. The following I-CAR training courses are required for its collision repair technicians in each of the listed roles for initial certification. 

Training Required for Initial MCB Program Certification

Production Management:
•  Before the Repair Starts (PM105E01)
•  Workflow Essentials (PM115E01
•  Synchronizing Workflow Through Team Communication (PM120L01)

•  Vehicle Identification, Estimating Systems, and Terminology (DAM01 or DAM01e)
•  Advanced Material Damage Analysis (DAM08 or DAM08e)
•  Exterior Panels Damage Analysis (DAM10 or DAM10e)

Steel Structural Technician:
•  Welding Training & Certification: Steel GMA (MIG) Welding (WCS03)
•  Steel Unitized Structures Technologies and Repair (SPS07)
•  Measuring (MEA01)

Refinish Technician:
•  Surface Preparation and Masking (REF02)
•  Detailing (REF04)

Platinum™ Status Requirement

Platinum status is required within 12 months of entering the MCB program to maintain certification for the following roles:
Production Management
Steel Structural Technician
Refinish Technician
