Maintaining Gold Class

The Insurance PDP™ provides insurers the opportunity to maintain some appraiser staff at lower ProLevels, while maintaining their Gold Class® recognition. This aligns the Insurance PDP with insurer business strategies and accommodates the staffing realities of high-growth insurers.

Year 1
Once 60% of the Auto Physical Damage Appraisers complete ProLevel 1®, the business is recognized as Gold Class.

Year 2
80% of the Auto Physical Damage Appraisers must complete ProLevel 1, while 50% of all Auto Physical Damage Appraisers must complete ProLevel 2®.

Year 3
80% of the Auto Physical Damage Appraisers must have completed ProLevel 1 or ProLevel 2, while 40% of all Auto Physical Damage Appraisers must complete ProLevel 3®.

After year 3
80% of Auto Physical Damage Appraisers must have completed ProLevel 1 or ProLevel 2, and 40% must have completed ProLevel 3. In addition, 80% of Auto Physical Damage Appraisers must complete six credit hours of annual training by the annual renewal date.

Example 1: An APDA that has completed 6 hours of annual training but has not completed ProLevel 1 will NOT be counted in the 80% of individuals.

Example 2: An APDA whose next ProLevel is 2 or higher and has completed 6 hours of annual training will be counted in the 80% of individuals.
