The days when a vehicle is simply spot welded together no longer exist. While spot welding may still be the primary attachment method, there are a number of other processes that are used during vehicle assembly. Much of this is due to the new types of construction materials being used such as aluminum, magnesium, and varying types steel. This program provides a detailed description of these joining techniques, how to identify them, and how to replace the joining method if a panel must be replaced.
