Overview
During GMA (MIG) welding, the properties of high-strength steel (HSS) will change, due to the heat created by the welding process. MIG brazing allows the heat-affect zone to be minimized and reduces the impact on the steel’s protection.

To help collision repair technicians fully understand the applicability and uses of MIG brazing, this online course addresses multiple OEM-specific processes, ensuring technicians are brought up to speed in the classroom, rather than on the job. This course will also help repair facilities begin preparing for the increased volume they will see in the near future of HSS vehicles that will require MIG brazing repairs.
