Module 1 – Driving Assist Safety Systems
This module introduces advanced vehicle systems, including basic methods for identifying advanced systems on a vehicle. The course continues with specific systems such as blind spot detection, parking assist, cross-traffic alert, and includes video demonstrations of various systems. Other systems discussed in this module include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and collision mitigation.

Module 2 – Vision Assist and Advanced Restraint Systems
In the second module of the course the student will learn about lighting systems designed to provide improved vision assistance, as well as advancements in passive restraint systems.

Module 3 – Convenience Systems
The course concludes with a look at systems such as passive keyless entry, push-button start, and other systems that are becoming popular as conveniences to the vehicle owner.
