Online Self-Study Content
This course provides an overview of how induction technology works, typical applications in the collision repair process, and cautions that should be followed when working with an induction heater.

The online self-study course begins by covering induction heater theory, and then moves into describing the different types of induction heaters and their associated parts. The student will then learn about using an induction heater for a variety of applications and on materials.

Detailed videos will guide the student through the differences between heating steel and aluminum. Videos and self-paced learning methods will also cover applications such as controlling heat, loosening fasteners, removing trim, removing seam sealers, removing spray-in bedliners, and structural straightening using induction heaters.

The course concludes by providing an understanding of safety considerations for protecting both the technician and the vehicle.
