After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the Nissan brand vehicles line-up
  • Explain unique considerations for repair of Titan®, GT-R®, and LEAF
  • Understand unique repair characteristics/ consideration to prevent consumer comeback and improve satisfaction
  • Understand Nissan vehicle structures and materials, and the repair considerations
  • Appreciate the Certified Network Program and its importance.

Module Content
Module 1 – Introduces the student to the Nissan vehicles that make up the 2016 – 2017 model lineup. Additionally, Safety Shield Technologies and passenger protection features are explained.

Module 2
– Discusses the Nissan Certified Collision Repair Network. Here the student will learn the benefits, requirements, and where additional information such as the Nissan position statements can be found. The learner will navigate the Nissan publication website and examine the collision repair considerations associated with all Nissan vehicles to include welding, frame construction, sectioning, and pre- and post-scan recommendations.

Module 3
– In this module the student will be introduced to vehicle repair considerations that are specific to the 2017 Titan XD®, Armada®, LEAF, and GT-R.

Module 4
– Provides a brief explanation of Nissan hybrid vehicle repair considerations.
