Nissan GT-R® is a 1/2 hour online course that serves as an introduction to the Nissan GT-R. The course explains the GT-R heritage, vehicle construction, special materials, and the importance of the GT-R Certified Collision Repair Network.

 

Course Content
Module 1 – Introduction to the GT-R

This course consists of one module to introduce students to the Nissan GT-R. The course begins by explaining that, as of 2018, the GT-R is available in four models. The vehicle is mixed material construction, primarily steel but also aluminum and carbon fiber. Shops must be part of the Nissan GT-R Certified Collision Repair Network to work on the vehicle and to have the work accepted by Nissan.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the history of the Nissan GT-R.
  • Identify GT-R models and features.
  • Explain the mixed material construction of the GT-R.
  • Explain the importance of material identification.
  • Identify body construction considerations.
  • List the requirements for the Nissan GT-R Certified Collision Repair Network.
