Nissan GT-R® - Diagnostics is a 1/2 hour online course that shows the driver-assistance and safety features offered on the GT-R and what must be done during repairs.

 

Course Content
Module 1 – Nissan GT-R - Diagnostics

This one-module course starts by listing the driver-assistance features available on the GT-R. The Nissan position statement requiring a pre- and post-repair system scan for any collision repair is reviewed. Wiring repairs that are allowed are discussed followed by showing the supplemental restraint system features of the GT-R. Finally, the focus shifts to expanding on each driver-assist system - rearview camera, park assist system, steering angle sensor, and the electronic stability control system - and the calibrations or initialization steps and replacement considerations required for each.

 

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify driver assistance systems.
  • Explain diagnostic scan considerations.
  • Identify other safety systems.
  • Explain rearview camera operation and adjustments.
  • Explain park assist system considerations.
  • Explain steering angle sensor reset and yaw rate sensor calibration requirements.
  • Explain SRS wiring harness considerations.
