Module 1 – Importance of a Learning Culture
In module one, the student is introduced to how their business performance can improve by implementing a learning culture. There is discussion on the value of knowledge as a sustainable competitive advantage for the business. Emphasis is placed on viewing the employees as assets in which their value can be constantly improved by learning and sharing that knowledge throughout the business.

Module 2 – Overcoming Learning Culture Roadblocks
In module two, the student will be able to identify the main roadblocks a shop will need to address when implementing a learning culture. They will view videos from industry leaders on what they did to remove these barriers. The course provides a deeper look at each of the roadblocks and how to remove them, such as:

  • Implementing learner expectations in the repair facility
  • Committing to being an expert and how to implement that in a repair facility
  • Sharing knowledge and how to implement sharing in the repair facility
  • Systems thinking and how to implement this concept into the shop

This module will conclude with explaining the importance of creating and implementing a shared vision in the repair facility.
