In this 1-hour online course you will learn about the GM full vehicle lineup for 2019. This includes new and existing models. Materials used in the construction will be covered. A discussion of repair procedures is also included on certain models and the course concludes with a discussion of technology that can be standard or optional on GM vehicles.

 

Course Content
Module 1 – General Motors in 2019

In this module there will be a discussion of the free and pay repair sites. There will also be details about the entire GM vehicle lineup to include GMC, Chevrolet, Buick, and Cadillac. 

Module 2 – Material Applications and Procedures

In this module we will discuss the increased usage of UHSS on GM vehicles which also includes a steel reparability matrix developed for collision repair. There will be some discussions about particular repairs for different models. The module concludes with a breakdown of where GM typically uses aluminum in their vehicles.

Module 3 – ADAS on 2019 Models

The final module is all about the different ADAS that can be found on the 2019 fleet. This includes systems that use camera(s) and radars. There is also information on surround vision and when a calibration will be required. The module ends with some ADAS facts.

After completing this course, you will be able to:
